Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle development ranging from requirements analysis to deployment in an object-oriented software development environment

Requirements

  • Java and C/C++ proficiency

Senior Account Executive (s) - Sales

New York, Singapore, Sydney

Capital IQ ClariFI is immediately seeking Senior Account Executives to drive sales of our flagship product and related services in various regions around the world.

This position is primarily responsible for generating new revenue through new client acquisition. This position requires an in-depth understanding of our clients' quantitative modeling processes and their requisite fund return's goals and how ClariFI's offerings can positively impact them.

A thorough knowledge of capital markets, ClariFI's value proposition, team leadership skills, and an ability to efficiently use internal resources such as research and product management are key to succeeding. Familiarity and experience selling into quantitative funds and research teams a definitive plus.

Key Objectives

  • Achievement of revenue goals
  • Identify and close sales prospects
  • Identify, create, and subsequently manage alliances and distribution channels that can further drive revenue.
  • Ensure prospect and customer satisfaction at every phase of the relationship

Responsibilities

  • Targeting and acquiring new accounts

  • Manage / maintain existing customer satisfaction levels so as to ensure customer renewals

Requirements

  • 4+years experience in a senior account executive in a software or financial service provider company
  • Excellent track record in developing new business and top line revenue growth - preferable for at least one start-up organization
  • Good understanding of the latest developments in the quantitative portfolio management market
  • Excellent presentational skills and inter-personal relationships
  • Innovative, customer-orientated thinker able to identify and exploit market niche opportunities

Client Quantitative Engineer

Capital IQ ClariFI is looking for a quantitative engineering professional to join our Client Services Group. ClariFI Client Services is responsible for all quantitative engineering activity for clients of our institutional products and services. Each Client Quantitative Engineer (CQE) becomes a knowledge expert in the ClariFI platform.

Responsibilities consist of understanding each prospective client's  application requirements and determining how our products and services can meet their specific needs; working with clients on any and all issues that arise during the pre-sales process concerning product functionality and coverage, underlying methodologies, analytics, data, technologies, integration, and deployment. CQE's form one-to-one dedicated relationships with specific clients and are responsible for the continued support of those clients. This includes pro-actively learning and understanding how our products and services are being used and subsequent training on "best practices". This also includes working with each client on issues ranging from methodology and technology questions, to new functionality, features and enhancement requests and finally to future business needs and requirements.

With the collective feedback obtained from our clients, CQE's work closely with our Research and Development Group to help define and shape future product releases.

Candidates for Client Quantitative Engineering roles should have:

A graduate degree in quantitative finance, financial engineering, and direct experience with Financial Data, Financial Products, and/or Risk Management are highly valued candidate attributes.

Business Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Client Development team to gather requirements from current and prospective clients
  • Document new requirements/utilize and expand current requirements repository (Rally)
  • Interface with Development team to provide detailed requirements for implementation
    • Ensure developers fully understand requirements
    • Review interim builds to ensure developers are on the right track via unit-level demos and code walk-throughs
  • Interface with QA team to assist in the development of test plans for all new features
    • Ensure that QA team is aware of all new requirements
    • Review test plans for completeness/correctness
    • Monitor test plan execution
  • Implement post-launch client feedback gathering process to systematically evaluate the impact of new features on both client retention and new sales
  • Ensure user-level documentation is correct and complete
    • Develop expansion and enhancement to current wiki-based documentation
  • Develop beta test program
    • Gather and evaluate feedback
    • Work with development team to integrate beta test results into release
  • Work with engineering team to document software engineering processes
